public is very important here -- it distinguishes from private cloud / chain, which is always the more compelling "weak technology" to incumbents

Public Cloud is taken. If we want to head to head compete against AWS, Azure & GCP this category is perfect. 

I believe (not know) we have crossed the chasm to early majority. The hard work is paying off & 'the public' (lazy me) knows what 'crypto' is good bad or indifferent it's a household word. Crypto Cloud ftw

I think you have to compare it to “public cloud” (as a compound word) which in its early days made companies in more conservative industries (finance, insurance, healthcare, etc) apprehensive due to the concerns about trusting external cos with proprietary data 

The same can be said about public chains now
