So happy to be the winner of the first REGENerate contest with my plogging video ๐ฅณ Thanks @regentoken, @cyrus and @kenny for such a fun incentive to do some good ๐๐ A good occasion to share my plogging story, so longread incoming โฌ๏ธ I started plogging during Covid - I was walking my dogs as usual and started noticing a lot of empty bottles and cans along the way. I've already been recycling for several years, so I was mostly plagued by the thought that all this useful material would go to waste ๐ฃ So one day I just grabbed a plastic bag and started collecting these bottles and cans on my walks, bringing them to a recycling container - and never stopped. There could've been a car made from all the aluminium I've collected throughout the years ๐ Now I can also see that at the time it was a way to cope with uncertainty, something I could do that was in my control. And I still use plogging as such whenever I feel powerless - I can see immediate results of my efforts, and it uplifts me ๐
