A couple of years ago, I found a sale of Salvador Dalí engravings from his Divine Comedy series. Among them was one angel that caught my eye. The price was quite reasonable, the seller reliable, but I hesitated. I wasn’t seriously considering a purchase like that for myself.  

And now, that image sometimes comes back to me. It seems that angel truly stayed in my heart. It’s one of those missed purchases I regret

Didn't know Dali had a Divine Comedy series though!

Thank you!  I also hope that someday I’ll be able to purchase it. Back then, I had just started exploring engravings, and their reproduction numbers made me unsure. But now, I see them as an opportunity to own a piece of art made during the artist’s lifetime - something that also supported him and allowed him to continue creating.  

This series is truly interesting. I love that it includes works in Dali’s “typical” recognizable style, as well as more delicate pieces - like that angel. I enjoy his paintings, but for myself, I’d choose something softer in vibe.
