Btw, this a dessert called posset I made using a recipe by @kriptokotya (her photos are much better too). It turned out delicious, so much recommended!

@klusya inspired me to share a recipe for lemon posset. So, if you have some lemons, heavy cream, and a readiness to receive compliments on your culinary prowess, here it is:

- 5 lemons
- 500g heavy cream 33%
- 145g sugar
- vanilla or vanilla extract
- 1 sheet of gelatin, soaked in cold water (optional)

1. Cut lemons into halves, remove the pulp, squeeze the juice of 3 lemons
2. Heat the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla in a saucepan until almost boiling, but don't let it boil
3. Add lemon juice and stir well
4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the soaked gelatin (if using), stirring until fully dissolved
5. Pour the mixture into the lemon halves
6. Refrigerate overnight or until firm

Enjoy your dessert! 💛

Tip: There is no gelatine in the original recipe, but you can add it if you're making the recipe for the first time and are worried that the cream won't thicken up
