reinvigorate yourself and accept what is but only on the terms that you have invented and reinvented.

And if you do want people to be charitable first and foremost and not focused on their personal gain, then the "game" should be based around that. For example, we can have a leaderboard for the people who distributed their tips the widest in the week, and everyone gets a reward according to their standing.

Or if the goal is to highlight creativity, then maybe there should be rewards for discovery and tipping of interesting accounts. 

Or maybe we could use the tips to upvote casts, so that the casts with the most tips would be highlighted? This could be a mini-app with rewards.

My point is - it's too naive to rely on people's conscientiousness. Most people will seek personal gain first. But you just need to show them an instrument with which they can do good for others AND be rewarded for it (i.e. crowdfunding).

If it's too difficult to come up with an instrument like that, we can have a contest for the best idea from the community, I'm sure there are builders that gladly make it come true.

betting on /farcade  games. Using tip allowance would be fun, and not have the bad feeling of losing your own money. Supports another project. You could put some guardrails on about only being able to play the same person 1x a month, so you have to go out and find new competitors.
