GM gals. Happy Sunday! Currently getting ready for one of the biggest weeks of my life by: cleaning, prepping, and more cleaning. Has anyone here had a planned c-section? Mine goes down on Thursday morning and the nerves are beginning to get to me!! Any tips for anticipatory anxiety? 😬

gm klovve. happy sunday ☀️ and I'm sending you the biggest hearty and warmest wishes for the upcoming week and the tiny replyguy's arrival. you got this. never had a cs but my best friend is a midwife & she accompanies a lot and one thing she always says is.. ask anything that comes to your mind to be comfortable.

I’m a doula & have had clients CS. Your medical team will be wonderful. Ask all the questions you want/need & advocate for anything that helps you feel calm & safe. Take some comforts into hospital…things that smell like home make a big difference to oxytocin levels.

Also, Postpartum prep is everything…make sure you have everyone rallied around you to serve YOUR needs so you can heal well & free from guilt. You’re incredible & you’ve totally got this. Not long until you meet your little person!

Affirmations work miracles: whenever you catch yourself feeling over concerned, turn it around with positive affirmations. Just put them mentally on repeat - they really help with overthinking and they keep your mind body balance in a really good place 💗 100 $degen
