Anyone ever had a meniscus tear? The majority of meniscus tears are minor but it is a common reason for knee surgery. The common surgery is partial menisectomy, where a portion of the tear is removed, or a meniscal repair is performed when achievable. Total menisectomy and/or the need for meniscal transplant is extremely uncommon but is associated with considerable morbidity. This product would be groundbreaking if proves viable. Others have tried in past without much success.
