Digging in the allotment and realized that the space I wanted to plant my dahlias is the wettest part of the allotment - really really wet gloggy even watery… You habe recommendations for a heavy clay wet spot - which plant will still happily live there?

For flowers: roses will do fine, foxgloves, hydrangeas, and moisture-loving plants in general. 🌹 🐱 You can mix in some compost/leaf mould to help break down the clay & encourage worms; it's actually very rich in nutrients! btw - feel free to join us in /allotment for plot-focused discussions, good luck!
