Is it illegal to give away money to followers?

What if I said I would give 1 ETH to a randomly chosen follower this Friday? 

Screw it, let's do it. I'm gonna give someone 1 ETH on Friday.

Ok, this was so much bigger than I thought. Here’s an idea I have for choosing the winner… love feedback. 

1. After thousands of shares, there are so many people in need and stories that deeply moved me. We are going to review all of them and then select four people who we think this can truly help the most. We will do this by noon EST tomorrow, Feb 27th. 

2. We then will take the four people and use @ponder to let the entire community vote for 24 hours on who should get the money. 

3. Whoever wins at the end of the Ponder, wins 1 $ETH

1. you know, this is a good option, but forgive me for such an opinion, but sometimes a person may not be sincere, but simply make up a story for his own needs.
2. It would be more logical to divide this 1 ETH into parts by importance 1) 0.5 ETH
2) 0.25 ETH
3) and so on

Agreegious. I followed dude simply because of the philanthropy. Not going to put up a story though as I am sure there are legit mfers that need the cash more than me, but who is to say what's the truth. 🤷‍♂️

I liked the random picker better 😆 it's the fairest imo
