What’s a moment in your life that taught you to be confident? Sometimes the little things can teach us a lot about believing in ourselves. A funny example for me would be my first encounter with a pogo stick in 3rd grade. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to jump more than 2-3 times, while all the other kids made it look easy. That night, I went to bed determined to figure it out. The next day, I was bouncing like a champ. It’s silly but I still think about that day when I am stuck on something. 😂 What about you? Do you have any experiences like this that you remember when facing a challenge?

My first real confidence boost was in 7th Grade. I was always a bigger kid when I was younger, pretty stocky..so I joined the football team. Within just a couple weeks I had actual friends that would show me genuine respect for how much effort I put out on the field. It was the first time in my life I found my own stride and this really helped me walk around with my head up and truly gave me the confidence to engage with people! Pogo sticks were tough for me too haha...same with skateboarding. You're not along holmes
