What’s a moment in your life that taught you to be confident? Sometimes the little things can teach us a lot about believing in ourselves. 

A funny example for me would be my first encounter with a pogo stick in 3rd grade. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to jump more than 2-3 times, while all the other kids made it look easy. That night, I went to bed determined to figure it out. The next day, I was bouncing like a champ. It’s silly but I still think about that day when I am stuck on something. 😂

A moment that taught me to be confident happened during a singing event where I was invited to be a public speaker. 
At first, the idea of standing in front of a crowd, speaking with poise and energy, felt daunting. My heart raced as I thought about the audience’s expectations and the spotlight that awaited me.

But as I stepped on stage, something shifted. I realized that the energy of the moment wasn’t about perfection but connection. With every word, I felt a growing sense of self-belief. The audience’s warmth and engagement reminded me that confidence isn’t about being fearless. It’s about facing those fears and showing up anyway.

That experience taught me a powerful lesson: confidence is a skill you build by stepping outside your comfort zone. And sometimes, it’s the little victories, like hearing applause after your speech, that teach you the most about believing in yourself.
