i had an awesome debate just now with a couple of folks i consider 🐐 onchain investors (they're on farcaster, btw)

crux of the debate was:

do you think Farcaster's growth to 1M DAU will be because of onchain dynamics (economic incentives)? or in spite of it?

i come down strongly on the side of "because of"

I think a mix of both, and each one branching out to satisfy users. There’s a balance here which puts us in a position where it’s not annoying enough like Twitter spam for us to leave and it’s not boring enough either (with financial incentives  and opportunities available it’s a feast everyday).
