i’ve been through the roller coster, here’s my verdict: community matters most, unfortunately online communities are feeble - it’s cheap, easy to get in, easy to discard but it’s the most promising aspect as oppose to “constant supply of high signal”, and “constant supply of funny troll shitcast”. “meet ups” are strong but lack access to many, it’s local so I wouldn’t consider it significant in bettering warpcast/farcaster unless done in scale (like a huge concert). tried smortposting, tried shitposting, tried complaining, tried lil psyops, seen financial incentives injected in, i’ve seen low engagement, i’ve seen medium engagement, seen high engagement with bots, seen bots spam - barely added significantly to better warpcast/farcaster so what could really make warpcast/farcaster better? up to us individually i guess, some people are just not built for this, that includes me. cc @dwr.eth

“not built for this” because you need to be sociable in the first place. trolls on social media are an anomaly.

I mean I really think we have a fantastic core group of people on here (I will always give love to Merkle for what they did onboarding smart, interesting users) but they're overcooking things by trying to go algo first too early it's simple you have good people on the network...let them talk to each other things that make it harder for them to talk to each other (like getting rid of a feed that lets me see what my friends post as it happens AND lets my friends see what I post as it happens) should be haram so fix it
