I've always been conflicted about real vs Kindle books; I prefer the former, but often the latter allows me to read more (eg reading at night)

I have come to a conclusion though

I won't be buying any more ugly books - which in most cases means any book published after the 1980s

Personally, late 1800s is 🤌

i'm a sucker for old books! i left a collection at home, now mainly daily driving ebooks for flexibility.

traveling to places, looking for that old book shop is probably something i would do.

that's where I found many gems (and things you would not normally read)

also AbeBooks is a gold mine
