People don’t want to see uninteresting replies and casts.

Best way to solve for that is weight historical inbound engagement for a user, i.e. PageRank-like score for every user.

Disproportionally hurts new accounts. Making it harder to get started.

My experience:
High signal casts: rare (very), enjoyable consumption when it comes. 

Most casts: mid-wit, try to engage and you get either no response or the other person gets butthurt.

Low quality cast: high quantity, usually makes me smile because it’s all memes. 

Rather have low quality and high signal casts.

Agreed, it's an adjustment getting used to it but works better
