Watched a video once: jogging was a psyop from a shoe company to sell shoes. Forgot which video.

No need to find the video, this podcast is about the history of Nike, of which Bill Bowerman was the cofounder. He wrote this book. IDK if psyop is correct though, yes it benefitted Nike, but its ALSO great for you.

Similar psyops were run to convince women to shave their pits (I think this was Gillette) and to get car owners to drive around trying new restaurants (Micheline), and to sell soap at scale (Dove).
