Art day at Museum San an hour outside Seoul. Designed by japanese architect Tadao Ando it combines strong geometric shapes and intersecting floorplans with a deep integration and appreciation of nature. Combined with all the pale natural tones of the rock and concrete walls and pathways it creates an absolutely serene environment. High in the mountains there is no sounds except birds and the pools surrounding the museum. We were lucky it was a perfect spring day with clear skies to enjoy all the outdoor features and panoramic mountain views. Even better. This museum includes a sound bath dome for guided meditation sessions, a giant rock garden, and a permanent installation by James Turrell. 💯/💯
