this was me the interface is designed around the main feed. yet the incentives and all other strategies are formed around channels. i think the concept of channels as a social network primitive is powerful. but they've been an after thought in the Warpcast interface.

yeah i know. i'm saying that might have to do with how the interface is designed rather than being inherent and fixed.

possibly, talking to people at reddit, seems like time spent has moved way more to feeds (like every other app) we have some ideas, just not top priority right now

current UI is twitter but "put these channel buttons on the left". if you click on those it's the same interface but it's a 'channel'. channel have just been a slap-on afterthought on the interface. i'm being harsh. and despite having thought about it for a while, I don't have a suggestion that'd be an improvement. but gotta keep it real.

we tried three different UI approaches, nothing really moved the needle. we've just left status quo (probably should have rolled it back). will revisit eventually.
