random hot take the reason I liked farcaster so much when I joined was I was able to meet and get to know a new group of people that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to know. today its just not the same, there's not a lot of new content that I look at and go "woah", lately x has been doing for me biggest need IMO is to bring more of this to the network, especially since distribution is so much better on x. this has more views than most if not all of my top casts here, and i have 312 x followers and 54k farcaster followers -> (https://x.com/kw0ETH/status/1871648585894564035) a lot of it boils down to giving net new users a reason to try it out, using crypto in a positive sum way is one direction, warpcast rewards is a great example of this. I'd argue it would be good to go further, one way off the top of my head could be using some/all of the $2.8 million ETH in the storage registry for developer/creator incentives -> which creates new experiences -> which creates new content

still overall bullish but IMO without creating these incentives its going to be a bit harder in the long run to create the truly decentralized experience that we all want ^ IMO in the long run the best non warpcast farcaster applications will be non VC funded, probably use @neynar and and will need some form of funds to get kick started. the clients that raise money need an expected return ASAP, which will be pretty hard IMO, which is why we have seen so many people create alt clients then stop development/pivot (not against raising money, just general thoughts on farcaster and its future)

I do think next year we will see a plethora of v2 frames that will pop off - this is great @farcade is probably the most fun I have had playing a mobile game in a while, more experiences like this will 100% be made next year The end state IMO for farcaster/warpcast to be successful is providing different experiences for different people, variety is needed otherwise there isn't much reason for people to be here tl;dr, IMO people originally used farcaster specifically for the decentralization piece, stayed for the community. I think for things to continue to do well there has to be more/better reasons for people to develop the network state that we all want -> more net new people -> more community that is made (this is also just me rambling)
