surprised we haven’t seen someone experiment with an encrypted fc client built for communities, or really encrypted casts at all. then again maybe gc’s and programmatic dc’s solve the same use-cases

idk, private discussions are definitely valuable for communities. The question is whether people would check a second app.

Yeah for sure! 33 bits is cool ill give u that haha I think at some point there will be interoperable dms that any client can use

yeah exactly, that's what I was getting at re 33 bits, I wasn't thinking of a model like that. I'm imagining an app where a community (like orange) can have private discussions via FC, where everyone sees the casts but only members can decrypt and read them.
