GM! Some really exciting life news I never shared: I am now working on Hypeshot (formerly known as the402)! We are trying to make it easier to make money via streaming through web3.

Here are some thoughts on my job search since it was 95% Farcaster.

don't take my casts seriously please (most of them at least)

1.) People here respond on a way higher rate than any other form of communication I used (including twitter, cold email, linkedin, etc)

Realized this pretty early on and reached out to many people who helped me out a ton, whether it was helping me get an interview, giving a reference, or just giving really good advice

2.) Eventually learned through advice I got that it's way easier to reach out to an employee of a company than a founder so I started doing that and it helped a lot

Overall its been a great experience so far, and has been really incredible seeing brands like sound.xyz and proof.xyz stream on our site. Very excited to see where this goes and am looking forward to the future of web3 social!

3.) People here are very excited to see you build, and are open to you making contributions to what they are working on. This in particular was very big for me because:

a.) At some points I definitely had imposter syndrome
b.) I was able to show that I know how to code (lol)
