I did it. Decided on the ASUS - Zenbook S 16 16β 3K OLED Touch Screen Laptop RAM: 24 GB STORAGE: 1TB Price: 1,399 with no black friday deal.

i was convinced by society that to be a real designer i needed a MacBook. howeverβ¦ they donβt tell you that the base models canβt really handle everyday / all day usage, adobe programs, & HA if you ever wanna play a game. but even with just 8GB theyβre $1300.. iβve been through 5 macbooks (new and refurbished) and all have had a similar story & the longest one lasted 2 years. 2 of the ones i purchased from Apple experienced a manufacturer flaw and i got them fully replaced but even the replacements didnβt last that long ??? anyways.. long story short the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over & over again and expecting different results. i just donβt think theyβre meant for me.. i need something serious for a reasonable price & not just a pretty little desk decor.
