Watching The Abyss for the 357th time, such a great movie. It would be nice if, before I die, I could go to the movies, drop a stack of cash and feel like I’m actually going to enjoy the movie and not just be lectured to about current day events and perceived injustices. For adults, Django. Kill bill was way too many over the top scenes to be taken seriously by anyone but a child. Don’t get me wrong, they weren’t bad movies, just highly stylized and I feel like those types of films are aimed at the folks that are into japanimation and the like. Basically, a live action cartoon.

I think it’s referring to the world’s smallest violin. When someone you know starts complaining, you would rub your thumb and index finger together, telling them that you are playing the world’s smallest violin for them. I’m sure you have heard the saying,” would you like some cheese with that whine?”, same thing.

Was it McDonald’s or Burger King that had a pirate ship in the middle of the store? The 80’s were awesome, the 90’s were even better. We’ve been going downhill since the millennium and I feel sorry for the younger folks because they never got a chance to experience how great life was before the internet and cellphones.

Are you mixing your own juice? That’s the easiest and cheapest way to try different flavors. Of course it also allows you to adjust your nic to an even lower level than 3mg, making the eventual removal of nicotine that much easier.

I wish they would, then these stupid fucking kids might stop vaping because they think it makes them look cool. I mean, I guess I can’t fault them for that, I thought I looked cool with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth, til I saw myself in the mirror and realized how fucking stupid I looked.🤦🏻‍♂️ The part that pisses me off is when the government tries to use that as an excuse to ban all flavors because they say they appeal to kids. This is usually when I ask when they are going to strip liquor stores of their flavors because they also appeal to kids. It’s rhetorical, they will never hurt an industry that lines their pockets.

I’ve been trying to get into this whole crypto thing but the wallets don’t make it easy. It doesn’t help that they’re not all interoperable and neither are the communities. For example: I would like to have a wallet that allows me to buy bitcoin but also other coins like ethereum if the mood should strike me. I have found that in the exodus wallet. Unfortunately, it has no option for lightning. If I find a nice wallet that has bitcoin and lightning, it doesn’t have ethereum. Like, what in the actual fuck? I split my time between here and when I have enough patience, Nostr, because these new protocols treat each other like they don’t belong, so I have been trying to find a wallet that I can easily use on both platforms. No one from here mentions Nostr and no one from Nostr mentions farcaster/lens/Zora and that seems a bit asinine. With all of the talent that all of these devs bring, it seems like a wasted opportunity to segregate from each other just because they have different endgames.

I don’t have a problem with the idea, it just seems half baked(pardon the pun). Ok, so you make a few products and you have convinced your local store to carry it, perfect. Now, what happens if someone gets sick from your product, do they go after you, the store they bought it from or both? There has to be some semblance of responsibility from the agency that allowed you to sell the product in the first place. Telling people they have to have so and so writing on their product, doesn’t cut it. Putting aside where it was made, how do you guarantee what’s in it? Too many ways for the seller and possibly the customers, to be negatively affected by such a loosely written amendment/law whatever.
