my 3yo daughter asked me today what is god and i failed to convey my interpretation of it in a way that made her satisfied (or me)

help

i just realized that this is what i have to show her to explain without words

any time that you try to explain what god is with concepts is like trying to put the ocean inside her water bottle

I do not intend to tell you how to do it, but I think and I have made it known to my children that God is everything, it is what we see, what we feel, breathing, the sun that illuminates you, the concept of a universal whole, Maybe it's not what you want to convey, but I think it's close to what we as Parents want to convey.

i don’t think it is aggressive that you tell me how to do it. it is exactly what i was asking for on the original cast. it is extremely important for me to cultivate awe, wonder and reverence “towards god”, and what you say is what i actually want to bring to our family. without too much religious concepts and fluff, but with the recognition of the unknown (or “more” than known) force that gives life to life
