The biggest advise I got on how to be more "creative:

Curate a moodboard for whatever it is you want to be creative at.

A huge part of creativity is consuming a lot of source material and being able to draw upon them easily

This includes software engineering too! GitHub stars is a great way to do this

Any tools you use in particular for creating mood boards? Figma is one that comes to mind personally

I personally like any tools that let me work at the speed of thought (i.e. less structure/effort).

For images, Pinterest is amazing because it also helps with discovery and the extension allows you to clip any images from the web.

For links, I've been playing with Curius
