As a former specialist, this really helped me understand the value of being a generalist (and being confident in becoming one)! Incredible how so many famous artists in history looked like utter failures jumping around, only for that to be their greatest strength! cc @heavygweit has a good blog post on this as well!

Excellent book. I keep going back to the phrase "Jack of all trades, master of none" - which was originally followed by "but better than a master of one" We forgot that second part.
