that's fair, I agree it's a capture attempt where they'd rather have people owning coins under their control vs sovereign self-hosted wallets

but it was an inevitability on our road to winning the war imo, so I don't worry about it a ton

if people want self-custody it's still there for them

The argument is that not that ETFs will affect Bitcoin itself

My point is that ETFs and SEC statement is keeping normies from actually using crypto

These ETFs are just lame excuse to keep users away from real adoption of Bitcoin
