Has anyone built a prediction market on Base yet? 

More and more i find myself checking prediction markets (polymarket, manifold) before x or the news.

I wish for an an app with: 
- mobile app for easy access 
- usdc on base for easy / low-cost 
- great search and discovery 
- farcaster, ens or x names for trust

isn't the hard part with prediction markets liquidity? not sure what Base would provide that is a big enough upgrade over Polygon that it solves the cold start liquidity issue

Polygon has about double the TVL of Base so hard to make the higher quality argument

BUT if Coinbase made efforts towards running some sort of oracle-as-a-public-good that prediction markets could rely on, I could def see the argument for Base!

liquidity is one problem but the other is bringing offchain info onchain

It seems so. For me, Base is easier because i’m a cb user and i already have funds there. And my perception of Base is that liquidity is higher quality than polygon.
