keep fighting the good fight. didn't they try to a/b test reply bumping recently though? assuming they didn't like the results.

have heard of 0 a/b tests and if they were done I'd be skeptical that they were done fairly

well people that want a certain answer run tests a certain way to get themselves that answer

sometimes it happens totally unconsciously as well

I've worked on analytics on hundreds of websites in my life, most "unfair" tests aren't malicious, it's people analyzing data without thinking of all the variables that may be influencing how that data was gathered

What benefit does it bring to Warpcast and to Farcaster to run experiments unfairly? Also — you are wrong. We have ran reply bumping tests many times and will be running more soon.

not sure tbh, they claim they did A/B testing with chrono feed vs algo feed and no one used the chrono...but I have no idea how that could've happened because I've been here since 2022 and never remember there being a period where we had access to chrono AND algo feeds

one day Home feed was chrono with reply bumping, then reply bumping was gone, then it was algo? is how I remember

in which case I don't see how a proper A/B test could've been run
