Interesting attempted phishing / impersonation attack just occurred:

- reputable person outreached and set up time
- had a legit domain that redirected to the real company domain
- 5 mins before the meeting, pinged me saying "join [sketchy-url].is for the meeting". At this point my alarm bells were going off
- I clicked the link out of curiosity, and it said "couldn't join"
- the person sent me to a sketchy support article URL that prompted me to download something
- blocked & deleted

I found out about this when a Japanese user on X got their entire position siphoned by a scammer.  It was in the middle of arranging an interview or chat with a user and he just got caught off guard when introduced to a "Translation App" that would allow them to speak freely to eachother.

This was back in May, so it's around and it's dangerous. 
Be careful out there folks!
