I was eavesdropping on a Religion and AI conference the other day and there was discussion about whether AI was dehumanising people or whether it was elevating people in pursuit to becoming more of the "Perfect Human" a "complete body", a pursuit to be close to what was imagined in the eyes of god.  I thought it was quite thought provoking.

Also has been discussion in the education sector that currently educational frameworks aren't up to date with AI technology where it's been tracked that students are handing in AI generated reports/homework with nothing the teachers with current rules can do anything about it.

So if not doing homework and using your own brain makes you dumber, I think that would be the answer.  Dumber maybe, lazier for sure.  Unless we use that open time to do productive things in another field.
