I miss Tonkatsu so much. I can make it at home, but itโ€™s never as crunchy as the professionals. This is one of my favorite quick bites when Iโ€™m in Japan. When they are deep fried oysters on the menu, Iโ€™m even happier!

I find outside of a Japan not many people can get the same Juicy thickness of the Tonkatsu right and it becomes a pork schnitzel. Gotta get that thicc pork with a bit of fat to make it right. Legit surprised you like the Kaki Fry or deep fried oyster. ๐Ÿ˜† Itโ€™s the one thing I feel aussies do better with eating it natural and a little lemon for the Sydney rock oysters.
