I'm telling you, it's a generational thing. People Jesse's age and younger never bothered with analog watches b/c they grew up with computers and mobile phones, which all tell time digitally. I love that he is so focused on Base and onboarding onchain, his lack of attention towards his watch is endearing--almost impressive. He cares so little about the wrist jewelry so many of us obsess over. Respect!

I mean I dig this watch. I fixed and sold watches for 8 years so the post caught my eye. I just really want to know if it’s upside down on purpose or not lol

What do you think a custom Base Seiko would command on ebay? There is a huge community of collectors, and that limited edition will be very sought-after.

Well I guess that was my other question. Is it actually a custom Base Seiko? Because I’m pretty sure it’s a seiko with a base blue face that he’s just calling a base Seiko.

I saw another pic of one from another Base employee (right side up). On the bottom half of the dial is a round Base symbol (circle with a line thru it).
