I find something off about the idea that it’s feminist and empowering to surrender your humanity to the machine to be more like men. You can tell we are in a sick society because basic acts like “care” and “friendship” are now equated to labor. Like taking the time to step outside yourself and ask someone how they are doing is equal to slumming it in the Amazon warehouse. 

Why do they insist on women mirroring not only the best characteristics of a man — but the worst ones too? 

If there is real value to be found, fine — but focus on that value! “I as a woman did x and I got y value out of it” Not rote mimicry, or “Men do x, so women should do x too”. These bizarre equality arguments were defeated at the ballot box.

feminism is why i was shocked by that hegelian you mentioned. in its third or early fourth wave it was the best real world example of hegelian dialectic that i can think of. it wasnt just about women's roles but gender roles as a whole. but yeah its sad how its been warped by capitalism to now mean both genders should self-objectify and be boss bitches at the same time
