Crypto doesn’t need people to think of them. Fairshake bought everyone off.

? I don't know what you mean by respect I just think the winkelvoss brothers are cringe, this messaging is retarded, and I do think cultural relevancy and interest matters crypto acquiring political influence with capital is super normal politics, it always happens and will have positive impacts on significant stuff for us (regulations primarily) but hard to see all that mattering if we continue to be the fedora guys forever culture is important

Crypto outspent every group that gets dinged for lobbying by a magnitude of order including oil and Big Pharma. That’s not normal…. Culture is important …. but hypergambling is the predominant culture? It has been this way for years and years now. Yelling at people to change is not the way, they won’t. You can’t fix them proxy, you can only be bigger and better

well definitely not trying to lecture anyone - I speculate way too much for that. I'm sort of here and not on CT for the same argument I'm trying to make in that post - we have to be in the world. that means lots of stuff. we have to lobby! and maybe organize a bit, develop some political values that we can speak to along with dumping money in obscure races and achieving targeted regulatory wins. crypto lobby spent a ton on ads that didn't talk about crypto at all - they know no one cares. Is that enough? Is the future of crypto basically just Coinbase + Pump.Fun? Doesn't feel bigger and better. one thing I respect a lot about trump is that he gets soft power, cultural power. He didn't try to mold people to his message, he brought it to them. He'd NEVER tweet that winkelvoss legal fees stuff. We (or people who matter, not me!) should study that a bit imo
