People kind of misuse the word eugenics I think, to mean the elimination of any undesirable (even if the undesired feature in question isn’t necessarily genetic in nature). I have many feelings about this as someone who was told to her face by her (now fired) doctor that I could always abort my (non existent, hypothetical) baby if it turned out like me (carrying extra cancer risk)
