I don't view it as the world going to shit, I view it as crypto thriving in the evolving global political reality it was built for

What I’m hearing is “I don’t care how painful things get because I feel my fake internet money makes me well positioned to thrive in the chaos” lol

I don't at all, I'm realistic enough to understand the gains from this scenario will probably be offset by how bad things will eventually get in the US

but I am still thankful that I have some sort of escape valve for holding value in an asset that isn't tied to the whims of political regimes

do I hope the US pulls out of its political tailspin, removes corruption, and has a glorious 100 years of stability and prosperity? of course! that would be fantastic for everyone 

do I think that's likely? absolutely not, so I position accordingly
