I have taken first aid/CPR certification classes a couple times and it’s always a worthwhile exercise 

The last time I took it in NYC last year they had a section on what to do when you see someone passed out on the sidewalk etc and how to approach which I found useful

Moving to Texas I upped my first aid kit with addtl things appropriate for gun wounds and gave one to my boss as well

There are booths such as that showing up to student events. Started to be more common place here at campus where students learned how to do a tourniquet and some kind of foam plugs in case of gun wounds or car accidents or other events that one can lose a limp and/or bleeding heavily.
