first year in a while I'm pretty disinterested in this game 

rather go to bed early then sweat out some negative EV bet on an outcome I have no control over

sports betting industry about to ruin so many lives in the US

It wouldn’t. But I view much of crypto indistinguishable from sports betting. And crypto people accept lots of subpar things just because they are onchain, like being onchain makes it better. If it was Coinbase Casino (for real) would it be different

So a fairer game. That’s interesting and fair. I don’t think too much about how these companies rig the game, but as you bring it up I can easily think of other examples of this

if there was no vig or the spread was similar to a market biid/ask, yes.

10% (on straight bets, worse on parlays) is egregious
