During my high school years, they showed us so many shocking documentaries of drug use. I’ve since seen even more horrifying documentaries where people’s limbs are falling off due to illicit drug use. I’d like to understand Some of the whys for why some choose to “escape”/ untenable circumstances, etc

hmmm this is interesting to me as i do feel a bit of a "soul reset" and maybe that explains this current level of detachment but I also wouldn't say its a bad or negative effect. in fact, I'm much happier and much more at peace. i now care a lot less about things that truly do not matter.

ALWAYS good to be cognizant of the possible negative and unintended results of drug use. I'd guess these are from doses similar to those requiring "trip guides" on ayahuasca retreats? I've heard lots of "life changing for the better" stories, makes sense there would be an equal yet opposite reaction of some sort.
