“There is something about crafting that gives a sense of progress and self-expression in a way that employment often doesn’t,” says Keyes. “You get to be really proud of what you’re creating and see progress in front of your eyes in real time.” The positive effect of creative pursuits on a person’s sense that life is worthwhile was 1.6 times higher than employment status. https://www.newscientist.com/article/2443778-arts-and-crafts-seem-to-boost-well-being-more-than-employment/

I remember the first time I was in music studio I was so nervous I couldn’t get my vocals right, the producer had to tell me to stay calm and build my confidence, then gradually I got my vocals correct and now I’ve improved drastically to the point where I can music alone

I totally agree with this. Creating something for yourself and sharing it with others, is incredibly meaningful.

Thissss is very subjective, going to the clinic everyday to clerk, diagnose and treat patients gives me this feeling, it’s real craftsmanship. You mind sharing yours?
