I will fight for you too. And everyone really. We deserve dignity from womb to tomb as they say. But most days I feel like my fight won’t do anything…. sigh

I feel like that sometimes. Then I remember MLK’s quote about the moral arc of universe bending toward justice. That reminds me his quote was inspired by Abolitionist Theodore Parker: “I do not pretend to understand the moral universe. The arc is a long one. My eye reaches but little ways. I cannot calculate the curve and complete the figure by experience of sight. I can divine it by conscience. And from what I see I am sure it bends toward justice.” Implicit in both statements is the reality that there must be somebody and even many somebodies to do the bending.
