The "skilled tech immigration" (which definitely spans a continuum from not really skilled/fraud to absolute 1 of 1 best in the world) debate is probably the one where "the Trump coalition" has the most internal disagreement.

People newly making their way to the right via Trump and their disillusionment with Democrats are learning that immigration is not just another policy question, but THE fundamental issue around which all politics hinges.
