5h of skiing today and i didnโt die. nothing broken despite some gnarly wipe outs. i can semi-confidently parallel ski now but need to work on technique and not panicking when gaining lots of speed ๐ฎโ๐จ

Always fall back to your most comfortable edge side. Do it dramatically when youโre going slow to practice and then even when youโre super good you will always fall back that at high speeds. Itโs more about flowing from edge to edge than going straight down the hill. You then learn to use speed to make catching edges easier.

yep iโve been doing that but sometimes my right leg is weaker and doesnโt put enough pressure on the ski. gotta work on that

Makes sense! Ya just practice more. and then as you get more comfortable the faster you go it actually makes it easier to catch that edge = your inertia cuts the edge. Hell ya!

thatโs probably it. i was slowing down too much instead and it was harder to catch that edge with my weaker leg. great tip, ty!
