🤷🏾♂️ I’ve been spending so much on FC storage without actually understanding how it works, and at some point, it felt pointless to keep on buying it. Anyways , I just found this insightful cast that breaks down how storage actually works on Farcaster, explaining how storage limits, payments, and message pruning are all handled. Ya it’s not gonna work decentralized. They gotta change course to much more sufficiently centralized imo.

Also leaning into serial scammers and obvious Ponzi schemes like @moxie.eth was a seriously bad move and did irreparable damage to the ecosystem.

i dont think dwr and v did anything to lean into moxie -- i think they dislike all of the tipping stuff tbh -- but i do think moxie did a ton of damage to the eco and ruined the experience for a lot of people. thankfully it's faded quite a bit as the ponzi runs its course.
