We will be in this perpetual purgatory until signups are free. This is not even an argument anymore, it has to be a massive tech issue or something making it impossible for Merkle to do, because the need is too obvious to ignore. People are never going to pay to use another social app, they won’t pay $3 they won’t pay $1 they won’t pay $0.25. Period. Until signups are totally ungated and free, FC never scales. eh, people pay 0.25 SOL to play into a game of Yapster. if they don’t, there’s not much else to do in the app in “free” mode. if the value prop is clear and powerful enough, people will pay $1 or $3 or in the case of X, up to $35 for premium. imo better to focus on honing value prop vs making it free.
