We will be in this perpetual purgatory until signups are free. 

This is not even an argument anymore, it has to be a massive tech issue or something making it impossible for Merkle to do, because the need is too obvious to ignore. 

People are never going to pay to use another social app, they won’t pay $3 they won’t pay $1 they won’t pay $0.25. Period. 

Until signups are totally ungated and free, FC never scales. 

When they eventually do this, watch the numbers go up.
