3. clanker i love the idea of it and it seems easy enough but it terrifies me cos whats the difference between me launching a clanker and what hawk tuah girl did which got her cancelled and in trouble also dont know how someone could make their token even succeed i think this would be an incredible way to fund my olympic journey but feels so scary and risky

The difference is she ā€œruggedā€. So she bought a bunch of the supply at first and then when it pumped she sold it all and wiped out everyoneā€™s money. Also it wasnā€™t her it was someone else doing this and she agreed, she still guilty of course. Clanker launches the token and then everyone can buy at the same time. So that canā€™t happen. But people can ā€œsnipeā€ and buy a bunch quickly on launch and then dump it like she did. The current issue with clanker imo is the token creator canā€™t by ANY of the token so it makes doing one kind of pointless. I hope they implement a way for the creator to buy a % of the supply automatically or I think itā€™s kind of worthless to most people as is.

What do you mean? I have created two different tokens on clanker ($WMZ & $SPED) and I have bought both of them. Thereā€™s a bonding curve that controls the price. Anyone can buy in once itā€™s live.

Youā€™re ā€œmarket buyingā€ at an inflated price because bots have already ā€œsnipedā€ it by watching the deployment contract and instantly buying. So you could have got like x10 the amount of tokens for the cost if you were the first to buy. It compounds drastically at first. So if the dev can auto buy like 1% at the beginning they get that amount at the cheapest rate. This benefit normally goes to an attacking bot.

Oh, okay. I see. Thank you for explaining that. It would be good to see what % of my tokens these attack bots have sniped and at what price. The last thing I want to do is increase liquidity in my tokens only for it to be exit liquidity for the bots and those who run them.
