Duck House on Long Island, USA 🦆 The Big Duck building on Long Island, built in 1931, was modeled as an advertisement in the shape of a giant duck for the sale of eggs. But his form inspired the nascent movement. Being a roadside monument, it had a wide impact, destroying ideas of what buildings could look like besides houses and towers. Today, this project has the status of a historical landmark. There is also a shop where tourists can buy "duck souvenirs".
