1. Government creates apps for parent-school communication 2. Parents and schools start using it 3. Government decides to create another app with more features, deeper integrates in the system 4. School start big outreach getting parents to switch 5. Parents switch 6. School keeps communicating using the old app 7. Teachers post school communication in WhatsApp group (see point 5) 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 (I’m grateful for every teacher who turns these groups into read-only mode. Don’t need to hear 30x “the you teacher”)

Wow 😵‍💫 at least you have Apps and WhatsApp groups 😆 Here is the situation for mid term school where I live 1. School informs you there is an on-line platform for homework and dates of exams 2. Headmaster tells you that he uses the platform, but other teachers may not 3. Your kid comes back home after 2 weeks at school and says the Geography and Math teachers writes homework and important dates on the blackboard 4. You find out that there is a third source of information which is the in-classroom paper agenda 5. Kids create a WhatsApp group to share responses to home exercise 6. You have to phone the school’s secretariat to get the number of each and individual teacher, so that your are able to find out what the homework is for next week 🤯
